Your environment Affects How You Feel
Research shows that what we surround ourselves with shapes how we feel, see ourselves, and experience belonging. During the stillness of the pandemic, I began drawing again and women shared that my work made them feel seen. That’s why Lori in Theory exists, to reflect Black women with softness, dignity, peace, and joy, because what you see every day matters.

Meet the artist
Lori
Lori Saint Rome is a Haiti-born artist whose work centers on identity, softness, and peace. After building a career as a civil engineer, she returned to drawing during the stillness of the pandemic and began sharing her work online. When women began telling her they felt seen in the pieces, Lori realized art could do more than decorate a wall. Through Lori in Theory, she now creates limited edition artwork designed to reflect identity and bring calm, intentional beauty into the home.
